Karbonn Titanium S6 was expected to be launched in June but now we have got confirmation that it will be launched in July.
Karbonn is getting ready to launch yet another smartphone under its Titanium series, called Titanium S6.
As reported by The Mobile Indian earlier, Karbonn Titanium S6 will be priced at Rs 19,900 and will run on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.
It will have a quad core processor and will be very slim. It will also support a 13 megapixel camera, Pardeep Jain, managing director of Jaina Group, which owns Karbonn Mobiles, told The Mobile Indian.
Jain had earlier said that the smartphone was expected in June but now we have got confirmation that it will be launched in July.
In the last couple of months we have seen a couple of affordable full-HD smartphones like Zen Ultrafone, Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z, Gionee E5, Lava Iris 504q and so on being launched in India. All these phones are priced between Rs 13,000 to Rs 19,000 and offer value for money proposition.
Interestingly, the last quad core smartphone launched by Karbonn, Titanium S5 got a warm reception by consumers. It had a 5 inch qHD (540 x 960 pixels) display, a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, 1 GB of RAM, and was running on Android Jelly Bean with OS version 4.1.2. It was pitched directly against the Micromax Canvas HD A116.
